Army Wing-NCC

Here’s nothing more important than our good health – that’s our principal capital asset.”— MVS

The National Cadet Corps is the Indian military cadet corps wing of the Indian armed forces. It’s headquartered at New Delhi, India and open to school and college students on a voluntary basis. National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy, and Air Force, and engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. It recruits cadets from high schools, colleges, and universities all over India. The cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course but are given preference over normal candidates during the selection process.

THE FOUR CARDINAL PRINCIPLES NCC ARMY WING WORKS ON

  • Obey with a smile.
  • Be punctual.

  • Make no excuses and tell no lies.

The main objective of starting NCC ARMY WING training in schools is to give the youth an opportunity to experience the military life. It’s crucial to train them early in school and make them strong physically, healthy and well-prepared for any war-like situation. Thus, NCC ARMY WING is an excellent option to choose from in school, given its obvious advantages.

Firstly, if your dream is to join the army, there is nothing better you can do in school than to join NCC ARMY WING. Secondly, even if you do not want to opt for the armed forces, NCC ARMY WING prepares you physically and mentally. It makes you learn many things, which otherwise you won’t get a chance to in life.
