School Laboratories

School Science Labs

Anatomy models, physics science kits, and chemistry science kits for instance make it easy to understand the otherwise complex theories of science.
School Physics Lab
Gratify the Learning Curiosity – Physics Laboratory
Working and experimenting in a laboratory forms the basis and is quintessentially what physics is all about. Applying theoretical knowledge and using it in experiments is the most effective way to master the subject. Our school encourages and stands for all round-development of its students and in keeping with that spirit, we have a well-equipped and outfitted physics laboratory to foster and expedite learning in the most effective way. The equipment here is state-of-art and addresses all domains of the subject. The laboratory promotes the spirit of investigation and testing and serves the learning interests of primary to senior secondary students. It is set up in accordance with the requirements and specifications of the Board for Physics.
Up-to-Date and Fastidious
There are meticulously designed and neatly labelled charts and manuals to facilitate experiments and assist students to execute all these with ease and safety. Safety procedures are clearly stated and everyone must follow the rules and regulations mentioned therein. The furniture and storage has been designed with special fire resistant materials and fire extinguishers are placed at accessible distances.
The laboratory is spacious and airy and allows students to integrate classroom exercises with the lab assignments. The ample space permits equipments to remain set up, saving time and effort of both lab assistants and the students.
The capacious laboratory houses computers and other modern instruments which are integral to the proficient functioning of the lab and also facilitate learning for the students. The equipment and tools provided incorporate modern technology with standard learning methods. They also develop physics concepts and skills for subjects like analysis, information processing and measurement.

They assist the students with any difficulties and help to keep the laboratory hazard-free and clean.
Discipline and safety are our top priority and we leave no room for short cuts. Top quality experiments are conducted in our physics lab so that students benefit to the maximum.
School Chemistry Lab
Chemistry Laboratories – Adding Interest to the Subject
Chemistry is often perceived as complicated and even boring. At our school, learning chemistry is super fun! It is a place to explore, enjoy and also understand the responsibility of treating equipment and chemicals with the care and attention they deserve. Learning methods, facilities and the faculty here prove that the subject can be interesting and easy to learn.
Equipment in the Laboratory
- Fully Equipped Laboratory
- Our school’s chemistry lab has state-of-the-art apparatus:
- Computer aided environment
- Durable and high quality glass beakers
- Marked cylinders for measuring liquids
- Glass flasks
- Wickless alcohol lamps with stand
- Test tubes and stands
- Thermometer
- Tubing Pinch Clamps
- PH papers
- Rubber stoppers
- Ring stands

- Well-maintained, good quality and safely stored stock of chemicals for conducting experiments
- Fire Fighting Equipment
- Well-stocked First Aid kit
The Importance of Safety
Our teachers and staff are well trained in the safety procedures necessary in the laboratory. Health and safety are given paramount importance in our school. Students are taught about this aspect before they get down to conducting experiments. They are taught to prevent mishaps and deal with them effectively in case of an inadvertent error resulting in an emergency. Anyone who enters the lab must wear protective gear like safety goggles, lab coats, mouth masks and gloves. We ensure that the equipment and chemicals are checked at regular intervals and all defective materials are instantly disposed off. Students are coached on being alert and must inform the lab assistant or the staff on duty of any imminent hazard or risky chemical spills. Everyone is taught to use the safety, emergency as well as the fire fighting equipment so that accidents are prevented.
School Biology Lab
Practicing the Study of Living Organisms
Our school is renowned for instilling discipline and affecting every aspect of a student’s life. We strive to teach our children from a real life perspective and therefore take special interest in educating them in science. As a subject, science includes the observation, deployment and understanding of actual materials and objects. To ensure that students practice what they learn, we have separate laboratories and this portion will talk about the biology laboratory.
Equipment and Facilities
The list of equipment mentioned below is only indicative and not exhaustive. These are put down for you to understand the attention we pay to detail.
- Microscopes on each work space. Super sensitive, high-powered and high-priced. The clarity of these microscopes allows the smallest cells in organisms to be clearly visible.
- Slides to be placed beneath and over the cells to be viewed under the microscope. Good quality and crystalline glass.
- Test tubes – for the mixing of fluids and solutions. High quality toughened glass.
- Petri dishes for culturing, smearing and pressing of samples. Tough unbreakable glass.
- Dyes to colour the cell structures and indicators to determine their characteristics. Litmus paper is one such material.
- Glass flasks
- Sharp scalpels to enable neat and one-touch cutting of organisms. Students are taught how to use these instruments and a strict watch is kept while they are in use.
- Stainless steel forceps to pick up the testers. Students and teachers are expected to wear gloves and lab coats but still must use forceps to handle the samples.
- Beakers for solution mixing are made from clear and durable glass
- Bunsen burners that are attached to a gas line. Extreme caution is exercised while these are used. Proper guidance and handling is demonstrated to the students before they actually use this equipment.
There are many other such exciting and useful pieces of apparatus which aid the students in their quest for understanding the living world. Biology, as a science, instils a deeper and profound interest in the domain of living things. The experiments conducted in the laboratory combine with the classroom teaching to achieve the best results for the students.
